
Outdoor Yoga for Everyone
Insole Court - Thursday 6-7pm
Cathedral School - Saturday 9-10am
These classes are designed for complete beginners, people with bigger bodies and movement challenges who want to experience the magic of yoga in the great outdoors!
I start from the very beginning, explain the basics, we move slowly and I offer lots of options so you can choose the ones that work best for you.
We'll be guided by the weather - if it's hot we'll spend more time stretching and relaxing, if it's cool we'll keep our bodies moving but I promise you won't be left behind!
If you find sitting on the floor uncomfortable, you can do the whole session standing or bring a fold-up chair for the seated sections.
If I have to cancel a class due to bad weather, you can transfer to another outdoor class or get a refund.

Beginners Yoga Course
This 6 week course is designed for complete beginners, people with injuries, bigger bodies and movement challenges - and anyone else who thinks they can't do yoga!

It's a step by step introduction to nourish your mind, body and soul, without feeling confused, uncomfortable or left behind.
​​
We will start at the very beginning to understand what yoga is all about and how it can help you. You'll discover how to adapt yoga positions (asana) with plenty of options to suit you including practising in a chair. You'll also learn about other yoga practices that are naturally more accessible including mindfulness, meditation and breathing (pranayama).

You've never done yoga before and want to start from the very beginning

You've only done a few yoga sessions before, or not done yoga for a long time and want a reminder of the basics

Yoga for Bigger Bodies Workshops
This 2 hour workshop is designed for people with bigger bodies who struggle with the physical side of yoga because many of the postures were designed with skinny people in mind!
​
You'll learn lots of ways to adapt yoga postures to suit you, in a safe and welcoming space where you can connect with other students with bigger bodies.

This is the perfect workshop if:

You've never tried yoga before, or haven't done yoga for a long time, because you're worried you're too big

You're practising yoga already but find the postures uncomfortable or impossible because they don't suit your body!

Bed Yoga Time
In this 2 hour session I'll guide you through a practice that can help you to slow down and rest, nourishing and supporting you over the Winter months so you can emerge in Spring feeling refreshed and full of life!​​

ALL the postures will be lying down or close to the ground so you can relax and enjoy.

Yoga for Movement Challenges Workshop
This 2 hour workshop is designed for people with movement challenges, including injuries, health conditions, illnesses, disabilities, who struggle with some of the physical postures in yoga.
You'll learn different ways to practice the physical postures, and how to use props to support you, so you can get the benefits of yoga no matter what movement challenges you're facing.

Chair Yoga Workshop
This 2 hour workshop is designed for people who want all the benefits of yoga without having to get up and down off the floor!

You'll learn how to practice the physical postures (asana) sat in a chair, with movements to stretch and strengthen your whole body, and discover how to use props to support and challenge you in your chair yoga practice.

This is the perfect workshop if:​

You've never tried yoga because you can't get up and down off the floor easily

You used to do yoga, but haven't been back because you can't do the mat-based postures any more
