You could use chair yoga to transition back to a mat-based practice gradually, or you could embrace the beauty of this practice that will be accessible to you for the rest of your life.

In this two hour workshop I'll show you how ALL yoga postures can be practised sitting in a chair.​
1. Basic principles of chair yoga

Understand the key differences between a mat-based and chair-based practice, and learn how to practice safely and comfortably in a chair.

2. Making use of props
​​​
Learn how to use props when practising in a chair, both to support you in the physical postures, and to increase the challenge (if you want to)!

3. Chair postures - Asana
​​​​​​
Discover how to practice the main types of yoga postures sat in a chair.
​​​
4. Chair sequences - Sun Salutation
​​​
Learn how to practice the most popular sequence used in yoga sat in a chair.
​​​​​​
​5. Playtime and Connection
​​​​
Have fun trying out all the different options, with time to chat to your fellow students so you can learn from and support each other!
