Outdoor Yoga for Everyone
Discover the magic of yoga in the great outdoors
Who are these classes for?
Have you always wanted to try outdoor yoga but worried you won't be welcomed or 'fit in' to other classes?

THESE classes are designed for YOU!

-
Are you a complete beginner and not sure where to start?

-
Have you felt confused, uncomfortable or left behind at other yoga classes?

-
Have you got a bigger body or movement challenges and want to know how to adapt yoga to suit you?

-
Are you practising yoga already, but enjoy slow and steady movements so you can focus on deepening your practice beyond the physical?

Welcome to our friendly outdoor yoga community where you'll be surrounded by people who have also struggled with yoga. We'll support and encourage you to discover that you CAN do yoga after all!

Why do I LOVE outdoor yoga?
Outdoor yoga is my favourite way to practice and here's just a few reasons why:

-
It's a relaxed & informal environment where everyone feels welcome

-
Being in the great outdoors has an instant calming effect - there's nothing like being in contact with the earth, looking at the plants, trees and sky, and listening to the birds to soothe your nervous system

-
It's much easier to stay present when you can focus on the sights, sounds and smells of nature

-
Connecting to the world around us helps us to see the bigger picture and puts our day to day worries into perspective

-
Spending time in nature helps us realise that we are a part of nature, and helps us tune into nature's rhythms and wisdom

-
Even if we spend a lot of time outdoors, we often take so much for granted. When we practice yoga outside we have the time and space to take in every detail, and really appreciate the wonders of the natural world!
What are the classes like?
These classes are designed for complete beginners and people with movement challenges who want to experience the magic of yoga in the great outdoors!

I start from the very beginning, explain the basics, we move slowly and I offer lots of options so you can choose the ones that work best for you.

We'll be guided by the weather - if it's hot we'll spend more time stretching and relaxing, if it's cool we'll keep our bodies moving, but I promise you won't be left behind!

If you find sitting on the floor uncomfortable, you can do the whole session standing or bring a fold-up chair for the seated sections.

Where is Outdoor Yoga for Everyone?
We meet at two gorgeous spaces in Llandaff, Cardiff, both of which have free parking and are easily accessible:
1. Insole Court on the Croquet Lawn, with the Grade II listed mansion as our backdrop, and beautifully landscaped gardens all around us.

2. The Cathedral School lawn, tucked away in a peaceful walled garden area, where we have exclusive use of the space - it's the perfect place to ease in gently if you feel a little shy about practising outdoors.
