Where is Yoga in the Park?

We meet at Highfield Park, St Albans in our secret yoga circle.

It's a beautiful and secluded grassy area surrounded by trees, away from the hustle and bustle of the main park.

Many people don't even know it's there so I send you a map and directions when you book!

What are the classes like?

We move through a sequence including sun salutations, standing, seated and laying down poses, and finish with a lovely relaxation.  I'll adapt the class to the weather, so if it's hot we'll slow down, if it's cool we'll keep moving but no one will be left behind.

With a maximum of 15 people in each class, I can guide you to adapt the practice to suit you.  I'll be around before and after the class to answer any questions you might have, and have a chat of course!

When are the classes?

Classes will run when weather is dry and there is enough demand, but will take place on Saturdays 9:00-10:00.

To let me know you're interested and receive booking information join my Yoga in the Park mailing list.

Bookings will only open a few days before each class so if the Book now button below doesn't show any classes, Sign up for updates and you'll be first to hear when bookings open!

Who is Yoga in the Park for?

These classes are perfect if you are:

  • New to yoga and not sure where to start

  • Have felt confused, uncomfortable or left behind at other yoga classes

  • Have injuries or movement challenges and want to know how to adapt yoga to suit you

  • More experienced in yoga but enjoy moving slowly and learning about yoga

Why do I love outdoor yoga?

Outdoor yoga is my favourite way to practice and here's why:

  • Being in the great outdoors has an instant calming effect

  • It's much easier to stay present when you can focus on the sights, sounds and smells of nature

  • It's a relaxed environment where everyone feels welcome
