How I'm keeping students safe

I understand you may be concerned about coming to face to face classes given the current COVID-19 situation, and want to reassure you that throughout the pandemic I have taken extra precautions (above and beyond government guidance) to make sure everyone coming to my classes feels as safe as possible.

These are the main precautions currently in place:

  • Windows open during every class

  • Student numbers limited so there's plenty of space to spread out

  • I recommend students wear face masks when moving around the yoga space (can remove when settled on mat)

  • I recommend hand sanitiser before entering yoga space, especially if borrowing props

  • I will take a lateral flow test before each class and recommend my students do the same

  • Students advised not to attend class if you or anyone you've been in close contact with has COVID-19 or symptoms

I hope this reassures you that your safety is my priority.

What if there's another lockdown?

I am confident that my classes will be able to continue face to face even if the government reintroduces additional measures eg. +1m social distancing as I have a small number of students in well ventilated spaces.

However, if there is a complete lockdown and the venues I teach in close, sessions will be delivered online until it's possible to get back to face to face - with the added bonus that you will get recordings of each session!

Most of my students really enjoy the comfort, convenience and privacy of doing yoga at home.  It's not the same as face to face, but it does have it's own advantages - you can even come to class in your pyjamas!
